1. Formation of the Contract
During the use of accommodation services and room reservation, an accommodation service contract is formed between the Guest and the Hotel, to which these General Terms and Conditions apply.
Reservations can be made electronically, by phone, or in person. The reservation becomes final with a written confirmation.
2. Reservation, Advance Payment
The Hotel considers a reservation final if the Guest has paid the following advance payment:
- 50% of the total accommodation fee is payable as an advance payment.
- The advance payment can be made by bank transfer, in person, or with a SZÉP card.After issuing an advance invoice, the details of the final invoice (name, address) cannot be modified.Based on the above, the accommodation service contract is formed between the parties upon the payment of the advance.
3. Cancellation Conditions
- Room reservations can be cancelled free of charge up to 30 days before arrival.
- For cancellations 29–2 days before arrival, the cancellation fee is 50% of the total accommodation fee.
- For cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows, 100% of the accommodation fee is payable.
4. Check-in and Check-out
- Check-in: from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on the day of arrival.
- Check-out: by 10:00 AM on the day of departure.In case of late check-out, the accommodation provider is entitled to charge an additional fee.
5. Accommodation Services
Hotel Dolce Vita Balatonkenese provides 20 rooms for its guests. The content of the service is detailed in the reservation confirmation.
6. House Rules
Smoking is prohibited in the rooms. Guests are kindly requested to observe the house rules and general rules of cohabitation within the accommodation premises. Guests are financially responsible for damages caused in the rooms.
7. Data Management
Guest data is managed in accordance with the Privacy Policy, which is available on the Hotel’s website and in paper form at the reception.
The purpose of data management is:
- Fulfillment of accommodation services
- Contact management
- Fulfillment of legal obligations (e.g., tourism tax, police registration)Data related to reservations – such as the Guest’s name, contact information, reservation date, duration, room type – are contained and stored in the VISA system. The Hotel uses this data solely for the purpose of managing and fulfilling the reservation.
8. Camera System
A camera system operates in the Hotel area for personal and property security. Recorded footage is stored by the Data Controller for a maximum of 168 hours.
9. Legal Disputes
Any legal disputes between the Hotel and the Guest will primarily be settled amicably. If this is not successful, the parties stipulate the jurisdiction of the Veszprém District Court.
10. Other Provisions
The Hotel reserves the right to unilaterally modify these General Terms and Conditions, of which it will notify Guests on its website and/or electronically. The modification does not affect already confirmed reservations.
